September 11, 2001 Hurt and Survival
Today happened and it hurt. In remembrance of September 11, 2001.

Quoting Victor Hugo
Quote by: Victor Hugo
Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones; and when you have laboriously accomplished your daily task, go to sleep in peace.

Emdedding Blackbird Pie
This is my first use of the new twitter embedding media called Blackbird Pie.
+What is Black Bird Pie?
Best explained by the following excerpt from: http://media.twitter.com/411/fresh-baked-tweets
+Why use it?
Frankly the answer is exclusively based on your preference. Screen shots is what ppl traditionally use when displaying tweets on articles. Personally I am not a fan of screen shots. However (unlike applications which evolve requiring one to back track/update) screen shots, for the most part, are permanent.
+What does an embedded tweet look like?
This is what it looks like after it was Baked:

+How do you use Blackbird Pie?
Visit http://media.twitter.com/blackbird-pie/
Once there, paste the tweet you want converted. Bake it. You will see the complete code. Copy, paste and add to your site via HTML editing. Don't feel intimidated by the code. It is a simple copy and paste. If you feel the need to change the code up a bit, it also loans itself for that too!
+How do I copy a tweet in the first place?
Click the date/time stamp on the lower portion of the tweet. After that page is open, stay on that page, scroll to url listed on your browser, copy that url.
There you have it. Don't knock it until you try it, then decide.

"So, we decided to take the janky script we’ve been using to generate static HTML tweets for posts (like the one you see here), polish it up a bit, and make it public. And if tweets really are the new quotes, this should come in handy: Blackbird Pie."

It's okay to look back and recall what not to do as opposed to fixating that it happened in the first place. #quoteless than a minute ago via webAbby

Inspired by Love
Love never runs away, it steps back to gain momentum.
~~~Touched by love once, touched by love forever.
~~~Courage to say I Love You need not be sought in the depths of a bottle or glass, it is found in the height of clarity.
~~~Strength to show your love is the completion of what you had the courage to say in the first place, I love you.
Previous 4 quotes by A.C. (E.I.L.C)
~~~
Sonnet XIV by Elizabeth Barrett Browning
If thou must love me, let it be for nought
Except for love's sake only. Do not say
'I love her for her smile her look—her way
Of speaking gently, for a trick of thought
That falls in well with mine, and certes brought
A sense of pleasant ease on such a day'
For these things in themselves, Beloved, may
Be changed, or change for thee, and love, so wrought,
May be unwrought so. Neither love me for
Thine own dear pity's wiping my cheeks dry,
A creature might forget to weep, who bore
Thy comfort long, and lose thy love thereby!
But love me for love's sake, that evermore
Thou mayst love on, through love's eternity.

Susan Boyle
Today's quote in honor of Susan Boyle: "I feel bloody fantastic!" That was her response when asked back stage how she felt after her audition on Britain's Got Talent.
I wanted to quote Susan today because instead of focusing on the initial reaction she received from the audience before she sang, she opted not to even address it get up there and give it her all! Despite what others thought, she kept focused followed her dream and if that is not a bloody fantastic feeling then I don't know what is!!!

- "Don't waste a $1000.00 worth of emotion over a 5 cent triviality."
"No one can go back and make a brand new start, my friend, but anyone can start from here and make a brand new end."

no words
Felt like throwing in a quote here today. Last night was a rough one. The county school board voted to break up this community sending some of the students in the area to a school further away while keeping the rest at the school within our community. By the way, this is the same school board that removed religious holidays from the school calendar only to reverse themselves after receiving National media coverage. The comments they made last night were insulting. Our school meets class size yet they still voted to split us up!!! No consideration was taken regarding how this will emotionally impact the kids that can live together but not go to school together! They could care less for all the working parents who have children in before and after school care who now have to scramble to find new arrangements!!!! HCSB, grow a brain! Not one word they said justified this split yet it created a set of problems which they will be forced to fix (in a hurry) I may add, come August 2006.
