Memory Lane has recently taken me down memory lane. Actually, it was the folks who uploaded videos of some of the singers my parents and I used to listen to or watch on t.v. when I was growing up. I still find it amazing how a song has the ability to transport you to a specific time, emotions return, a smile or a tear may appear. In some cases the bad news is when the song ends and reality takes it's place. In the meantime, I can say I truly enjoyed that moment. It took me back to a place I had forgotten, a place where all was wonderful (at least in my eyes it was) despite others having a different perception at that time. Time is never still, it finds ways to remind us where we were just as it doesn't give us a heads up of where we are going. A lane with many memories, some magnificent, some not worth recalling. Time can never change what was or wasn't yet we have the ability to add what we would like to it, so why not make memorable moments here and there, if not for you then perhaps for someone else. Again, we have the ability, the question is, do we have the desire to do so? BTW, what does a moment cost now a days?
