Stillness rules the evening. Thoughts traveling carefree, words resting from any exchange.

A constant candle light flicker trances all emotions, nothing left, nothing at all. Distant mellow notes hit the air tempting sleep to take over, fighting it slightly, then all is quiet.

It feels like home for a moment. Alone shouldn't feel like home. Those moments turned into days, years.

Shadowless figure grace me with your absence before living ceases. Begrudge me not that one simple request. Act before the specs of light completely dwindles inside and out. Why do you delay? Could it be the same stillness is also ruling your night?
