I haven't posted here in a long time, duh. Birthdays, beach, repairs, yard work and much more has taken place since my previous post.
One of the things I have taken to is noticing more things, being present, putting the phone down.
Due to my efforts I have managed to see some pretty cool things. I saw a huge bird glide for what seemed to be forever. Another cool thing I saw on a recent walk made me happy. I happened to look up and I saw a heart shaped sun peering through the branches. Had I been reading on my cellphone or even talking on it, I would have surely missed this simple yet beautiful treat. I'll close by reminding you to look up more often, you'll never know what sweet surprise awaits you.
